Prineville PD wants to help people recover their bikes

June 14th, 2016,   Prineville, OR --

The Prineville Police Department regularly retrieves and stores lost and stolen bicycles – and they want to help you recover yours if it was either lost or stolen.

Amanda Noland with the Prineville Police Department is amazed how many bicycles they have recovered. “We have many bicycles, most in good condition, that I bet their rightful owners would love to have returned,” said Noland.

The Police Department is also at a point where they are running out of room to store all the bicycles. So Noland is reaching out to the public to try to help everyone recover their bike.  “All people have to do is call or email me with a description or photo of their bicycle and I’ll help them recover it,” said Noland.

Noland is at the Prineville Police Department on 3rd St. Mondays through Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and encourages people to contact her during those hours. (Noland’s contact information is in the heading above.)
“I’d love to see all those kids that are missing their favorite bike get it returned to them,” said Noland.
