City Council to adopt the Natural Features Overlay District (NFOD)
|
At the first City Council meeting in October the Council will be reviewing the finalized NFOD documents and voting on the
implementing ordinance.
This ordinance is intended to comply with State Planning Goals 5, 6 and 7 and include provisions to protect natural resources, scenic views, surface water, wildlife habitat and hazard areas. Owners of all affected properties have been sent notice in accordance with the requirements of State Measure 56, notifying them of a potential change in the value of their property based on the proposed policies.
