City Council Meetings
The City Council encourages citizens to come to Council meetings. We meet on the second
and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the City Council Chambers at Prineville City Hall
located at 387 NE Third Street, Prineville Oregon.
Anyone wishing to bring matters before the City Council can do so by first visiting the
reception desk at City Hall which is also an excellent general information center for the community.
Reviewing Council Minutes
An audiotape and hard copy of each business Council meeting is available at City Hall.
Agendas are on the web site or may be requested through the front desk at City Hall.

Mayor
The Mayor presides at all meetings of the City Council and recommends measures
he/she deems advisable. The Mayor has the power to appoint all members to city boards.
The Mayor votes on all Council business and signs any ordinances passed by the Council.
The Mayor and City Council Body serve without compensation.

Personal Information:
I grew up in Eastern Oregon (actually in Seneca), went to Grant Union High School in John Day, Oregon. I then went to Oregon State
for the next couple of years. When my children were small I lived at Rager Ranger Station out of Paulina. I worked as a Medical Clinic
Administrator in Monmouth/Independence for 12 years and in Prineville, Oregon for 12 years. I have been retired for ten years.
I have served on the Pioneer Hospital Foundation Board for sixteen years. I have also served on the Crook County Foundation Board for four years.
I have served as the Treasurer for the Crook County Kids Club since its inception. I am currently on the Deschutes Water Alliance and the Deschutes
River Conservancy.
I have served on the City Council for the past 6 years and have been Council President for four of those years.
I am active in Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
I have served on the Crook County School Districts Facilities Committee and remain interested in all activities of the local schools.
My husband and I have a large family with 7 children, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Several have attended Crook County Schools
and several will attend in the future.
I am proud to be in the position to serve. I do so with only one agenda; that which is best for the City of Prineville and its residents.
